Tadej Pogačar (UAE Team Emirates) wins Stage 15 of the 2026 Tour de France (Champagnole–Plateau de Solaison, 184 km, 19 July 2026)

Pogačar leads the GC by 3:36 over Vingegaard and 4:06 over Evenepoel. Stage 15 is the first true Alpine stage: 4,700m of elevation gain, summit finish at Plateau de Solaison (11.3 km, avg. 9.1%). On comparable steep summit finishes, Pogačar is consistently dominant. The only dark-horse threat per preview coverage is Isaac del Toro (7th GC, +5:08), who recently won a similar Solaison-profile ascent at the Tour de l'Avenir-Rhône-Alpes. Since Stage 14 (Vosges, 18 July) is already forecast for Pogačar, there is a small chance he saves energy on the following day.
